TWO STROKE REVOLUTION. KTM DID IT AGAIN

Good afternoon fellas,
today a news that come out like a thunder.

The two stroke, for years the flag of the typical race engine, could have a new life, born again from the Ktm's mad minds.
Yes because if Honda decided that the two stroke was polluntant, dirty and with high consumption (fake fake fake, but everybody said yes it's true), the Orange Brigade will make a dream for a lot of riders come true.
Aprilia tried with the di-tech.

Also Honda tried with the  off-road experimental prototype motorcycle EXP-2, with a fuel injected 400 cc (24 cu in) two-stroke engine. Never seen the production.

Only in Europe the oil burner engine rapresents the Resistance.

In off road and track.
But now KTM show one more time the courage to trust in it. And also Wittiveen, hystorical mechanical engineer who also rode in the gp championship, trust in a new future for this engine.
KTM hasn’t revealed all of the details about how its system works, but says it uses Transfer Port Injection, so the fuel will likely be injected into the intake stream, rather than directly into the compression chamber like many car engines do today. Honda has filed a patent for a general purpose two-stroke with direct fuel injection, but has not yet put it into production.
Being able to meter the introduction of gas into the intake more precisely should reduce or eliminate unburned fuel from making it into the exhaust. KTM says fuel consumption is improved and owners will no longer need to adjust carburetor jets, a time-honored and time-consuming tradition of two-stroke ownership. Pre-mixing the oil and gas will also not be required, which suggests the incorporation of an oil-injection system. A sketch of the high-tech engine shows that it will use an old school kick starter.
And will arrive also in USA with the all new  KTM 250 XC-W
